I am the current organiser of the PG Stats Reading Group. Over the coming academic year, we plan to organise mini-workshops across a wide range of statistical and machine learning topics, in an effort to upskill students in areas of interest. Topics for each semester will be determined by the group at the beginning of semester. Optional talks and seminars will be arranged on an ad-hoc basis to give students a chance to practice talks prior to conferences.
